PowderPro bars with no carbides...

Sorry they were on the sled when I bought it. Yes just a bar, nothing on it. Have you tried to ask a place that sells Powder Pro's if they can get you set up?

Weld over the carbide. Thats what i have done to past sleds.

SLP makes a weld bar runner for powder pros. ...ran them on my last two sleds and have got the replacements from SLP.

Remove wear bar, heat carbide with torch to melt the braze, tap with hammer and chisel to knock free, hit it with a wire brush, fill in groove with mig welder.

If you have the tools, its free, and is something to do while waiting for snow. If you dont have the stuff I'm guessing at least one of your riding buddies do.

Its one of the first things I do on a new sled. Eric

This is what I run. You can get them from SLP. I don't need or want carbides.

yes SLP has hard weld bars work real well 1/2 the price of carbides

Ran them on Powder Pros and Mohawks

I hate carbides. Just catch on stuff and tear up concrete.

The only downside is you can't turn on pavement (not a big deal for me).
