post vs belly pan

ok so yesterday me and my buddies went ripping down some cutlines and near the end of the day i went for one last burn. i didnt see the white sign and t-bar laying in the snow (after a grader knocked it down in the wind row) and hit it head on, on the left side of my belly pan and tore right through it and hit my primary clutch. so when my sled came to a dead stop the clutch was grinding against the sign until i could get up and shut her down. so my question is would i have to buy a new primary the outside is shaved and grinded down like a 4 year old took a grinder to it or is it the inside of the clutch that really matters. the inside is untouched and looks good but its just the outside thats banged up pretty good or would it have to be balanced so i dont start knocking out bearings

I would replace it and check your runout on the end of the crankshaft with as dial indicator. not sure what the allowance is in on the runout. i will look in my service manual and post result

Pictures would tell a lot.

If it's not too bad I would have the primary balanced at the very least.

If the internal have been damaged, you are better off with a new one.

this probably not what ya wanna hear, but i would get a new clutch. It might not be bad but thats one area i wouldnt wanna chance it. 400 dollar clutch or 4x that for a new engine when the bearings crap on ya. jmo but thats what i would do
