Hi

I have Polaris XCR 440 1994, i wanna make it run way better and i have few questions. This is my first Polaris.

Can i swap original driven cluth to team tss-04, is there same size jackshaft?
I have to maintance primary clutch and replace spring, can i use new p-85 clutch spring or are they different sizes?
I live in Finland, its way more easier find parts team secondary and newer polaris clutch.

Can i swap my original pipe to 1997 xcr 440 pipe, is there any hp gains for that swap?

Secondary clutch on your XCR has a keyed shaft, the newer tss-04 should have a splined shaft. Arctic Cat made a roller secondary that fit the keyed shaft.
The primary should also be a P85 so springs and weights should be interchangeable.

Thank you for info, I though some polaris have keyed shaft with tss-04 and newer have splined shaft.
Is it same old P85 and new P85 or is there some kind difference like taper?

My '04 & '05 RMK's had a keyed shaft as a tss-04 driven. It appears they made the change to the splined shaft with the IQ/Dragon platform in about 2007.

The taper would need confirmed between models but otherwise should work if they match up at the shaft.

maybe a TSS-98? whats worn out on the original though, buttons should be easy to find still, trouble with rollers is people let them shift too fast and makes sled doggier.
