Polaris heated grip connection

Has Polaris used the same connection for the handle bar heaters.. say 2015 to current ?
trying to purchase some bars and was wondering about the connector.

They changed with the 2019 850 RMKs. 800's were the old style.

you can always swap the connectors over to the old style

Everything I looked up was different from axys to matryx.

Yes they are different but I used old style on my Matryx by splicing on the new connectors to the old style heater elements. Same with the thumb warmer, the old style are cheaper but only the connector is different.

Do you suppose it would work the other way? Meaning, could you cut off the plug end from a Matryx warmer and put an axys plug on? or is the wiring setup not going to work on account of the smart warmers?

Sure, it doesn't matter but the newer plugs are generally better.
