well i was not happy with this sled. I have 03 rev 600 ho 136 thought i give yamaha i chance. I ride off trail all the time. in the mountains and in u.p. michigan. phazer lite 144 not happy
well lets start here the sled has good power for stock sled good on gas but that is all i give this top heavy sled does not want to carve. once you try to carve it will keep going till your on your side. will not turn ski stance too short all phazers need wider ski stance. so short ski stance top heavy sled you do the math. here many good things about the fourstroke but this 4,500 sled is FORSALE in minnesota let me know!@ one more thing elect. start is great?

Did you even test ride the sled before you bought it? We all know the sled is slow stock-come on now its a 500cc 4stroke what did you expect. As for the tippiness thats part of sled -took me about 200 miles to get the tricks down and i hardly put it on its side any more. As far as ski stance goes it is adjustable and what i have found best is to put the smaller of the two spacers on the inside with the the bigger one on the outside. Set the front shocks to the stiffest along with the rear skid shocks to the stiffest. This isnt a flat lander style sled you cant carve while sitting down you need to be standing up on your feet ready to counterbalance-once you get the hang of it no other sled will compare:beer;

I havent had any problems with mine, And I havent touched anything, Still just like it was when I brought it home from the dealer.

Yup it is tippy, but widen the ski stance and put better shocks up front and it gets much better,it does teach you how to tide differently,as for carving,it carves too easy and I think that's your problem.I've ridden the 03 600 136 and to me that one doesn't carve,I think really it's all what you're used to.

I love mine, other than the power thing but I knew that going in that it was never advertised as a power house sled for adults. It's great to ride, in fact in tight spots I like it better than my Nytro for handling - huge fun factor!

I think the Phazer was somewhere around 530 lbs. But I could be wrong. I got on my wifes yesterday after riding my nytro and tipped it over because I am used to the nytro now and not the phazer. to me they very different handling machines. But I agree the phazer is a fun sled to carve on.

no test ride

It's the same weight as your Rev.

As a note of interest, the Nytro is within 10 lbs of an 07 Rev 800 with elec start.

I bought this sled for my wife and she loves it! Maybe should have done some research before buying. Thats an expensive lesson. Best of luck.

yeah my buddy has the phazer and he loves it, were flat landers and every blue moon hit some of the deep stuff, i own the nytro and i love them both, i dont think that i could give up the fuel mileage and i switch over from cat, he from doo and we both took a chance he bought his last year not riding it and i bought mine this year not riding it also, we just slaped on a bigger lug track, we run 121s, were both happy just my .02

I have a nitro and a phazer. When I go from the nitro to the phazer I tipe over a time or two until I realize i'm not on the nitro. The differance is a shorter and narrower track. You just put less rider imput into the turns. I rarely stand on one side on this sled. It is just not necessary. You have to learn how to ride it, when you do it's a blast.

i think you need to compare the phazer to a sled that has 80hp not 120.it's a great sled for what it is. i believe yamaha could have made it way less tippy with different shocks and skis and tried to lower the sleds centre of gavity.

I don't know, your main complaint is, "its top heavy and can't carve without falling off.."
Heres a vid of some carving.. about 6 inches of soft, it also carves nicely in deep snow.
Sure its short on power, but does just fine in my book. and yes I've fallen off
carving many times.. both on my phazer and older sleds.. its just a learning thing..

like i said top heavy tippy

video shows sometime you are going to tip so you stop trying to carve i know some times its good. but in michigan we put sled between trees this sled goes everywhere. yes i know how to carve thats not the problem. my friend was stuck i was in front of him turned my sled around then between some trees. I get him unstuck ride the phazer on the same trail i did to get the sled out. it got tippy on flatland let off gas stuck on a blazed trail? sled just sank. $$$$4,500$$$ THIS IS A STEAL. minnesota
