Packing Gas

How many of you guys pack extra gas, I know I will be. Just curious how they do on boost, my old 1100t I could only make it about 45 miles before I was on fumes.

I've got gas

I always take oil but have never gas- on areas where I know gas is hard to find I would- probably only in quart bottles

On my t-nytro I have had good luck with a Rotopax set up. I have a gas pack against the tunnel and a black storage pack on top of it.

I was surprised by how hard on fuel these boosted four strokes are. On a good snow day by the time I'm running on fumes my budy on his n/a pro will still have a 1/4 tank or better. Ill be running a Mountain Addiction 3.3gal gas can this year

I like the Mountain Addiction gas racks/tanks.

I just have to ask, do you mean your 1100T would burn a full tank in 45 miles? That's insanity.

It takes fuel to make horsepower.

If you are going from 120hp stock to 240hp Turbo, there is no possible way that you are not going to burn a LOT more fuel.

And lets face it.
We are out there to have FUN.
Gas is cheap.
Bring more fuel and PLAY HARDER!!:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap

Yeah, it was sputtering after 36 miles one day in heavier wet snow. +race fuel and belts I was spending $200 a day to ride. :ohwell:

This post reminds me of my first ride on my boosted Apex. 12 gal tank bone dry in 59 miles, dump in 2 gal and tried to baby it back 20 miles on the trail and ran out again. lol Eric
