Opinions and Facts on Split Second's 885 XP Big Bore?

I am kind of looking for a B.B. kit for an XP. I've heard good things about Split Second. But I have a couple Q's. First of all: How much is the kit? Do you have to run race gas? Would it be better to run twin pipes or a single? How much power does it put out? And would it be to much for a 14 yaer old kid? (has been riding since 2, so not inexperienced)

BB kit for XP

Call Ted at terra alps racing. I was in his shop last week, and he's building kits for that motor. That guy really knows his chit. He's building me a sled right now. I think his handle is 'kostabunch." You'll find him. Good luck

best is to give ralph a call a split second and discuss your intentions,
he is a great guy. he has many out there and they are all working
well. of course he can make it wild to mild. as for pipes on these
i only know of a couple twin setups , the rev or xp are a pain to
put twins in?

I hope his warranty has improved back in the 670 days when he was building 720s 740s he was only giving 5 second warranty.

Wasn't aware mod motors had warranty on them....cool!
