Off season sled deck storage? Let’s see those creative ideas!

Hello all,
Looking for ideas regarding “off” season storage of your sled decks! I’m hoping to be able to come up with some sort of 4 point pulley type system that suspends it from the ceiling and can be used to set into the bed of the truck when it’s “go” time. Thanks!

When i had a sled deck.

I usually just tipped the sled deck out of my truck and leaned it against my shed.

Easily done with one guy.

Strap it to the shed.

If you have space in the yard, build a platform the size of the sled deck at the heighth of your tailgate folded down. Makes loading and unloading super easy and a one man job. Just back up to it.

I leave mine on year round, Makes the box a secure some what dry area when you lock the tailgate. It also helps my 3/4 ton truck ride smoother with the added weight. I remove my ramp though for more under deck space. Been doing this for 15 yrs or so now. It also helps i can push the sides in to narrow it up.

I drag mine out onto the retaining wall hill, level with the truck.
Slides in and slides out
No lifting.
Easy peezy.

haha! I bought the truck for $500 four years ago. You can do the math on the rest. That thing is a trooper!!

I'm not sure how anybody makes it through life without a forklift. $600 for a Toyota that lifts 4000 lbs 15 years ago was the absolute best tool I've ever bought.

Yep, fork the deck in and out probably 10x a year.
2000lb lift kittyCAT forklift. best 1500 spent.
Use the deck for hauling yard debris at the lake place in the summer, nice to toss it in for just the weekend.
Not in use the deck goes on top of the pallet rack.

the little cat is more forgiving when you bump against the tailgate putting the deck in.
