Occasional hanging throttle

Good day,

I have a 2015 800 assault. About 50% of the time when letting off throttle, the clutch will disengage but ghe engine rpm will remain at approx 3800rpm. Sometimes it will drop down to 1800-2000 on its own, sometimes it requires a throttle blip or two in order to get it to idle down?

Anyone run into this before? Ideas where to start?

I think you should check the throttle cable for any signs of binding or sticking. If the cable is not returning to its idle position properly, it can cause the engine RPM to stay high. Ensure the throttle cable is properly lubricated and adjusted to allow smooth and full return to idle.
