I used to go to Melbourne and Sydney a lot, you can't get a lot farther south than that? I used to see snow in the New Zealand mountains.

You were right there!! From Melbourne its about 5 hours north to the Alps.
From Sydney its 3 hours west.

Remember snows only there in June to Oct on a good season.

Some funny comments there boys!! Yes we have snow in Australia normally from June till October. Average snow depth is approx 6 to 10 feet a season.
Down south most is in national parks, ski resorts so riding is only for a very few special people, I'm one of those special ones
