muffpot/can cooker recipes?

Our best was some leftover over prime rib, and then made up some twice baked potatoes....homemade chicken burritos tend to be the standby.

I'm not a cook....Don't try, don't care.

For me: Costco..........Pak of Brats. Sometimes like Hawaiian Pineapple flavor or what ever.......Come 15 or so to a pak.....

I take one out of the freezer and wrap it in foil......Even if I skip breakfast, it's enough lunch to keep me going all day......A 15 pak can last most of the season........

I know, I'd make someone a good wife.......:help::help::help:

The ol faithful. Hot pocket wrapped in foil.

Every time! Unless it's pizza rolls or Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches.
I NEVER eat that crap at home but for some reason it tastes awesome cooked on a Sno machine!
Have done leftovers, etc a few times.
Depends on the sled and the ride.
I have burned the schitt out of stuff, melted oven bags to the cooker, on my M1k and Pro on good powder days. Even though it's dirty, I only use foil for that reason.

A friend cooks jumbo prawns with galic and butter if you think that's good at home or a restaurant try that on the hill.

Parchment paper then the aluminum foil. That will stop your food from being black.

Bought a box of jalapeño poppers the other day and threw them right in the muffpot as-is. They were delicious. Nice change from the usual sausage we put in

Cook a pork loin for dinner and toss the left overs in the cooker with some bbq sauce in an oven bag.

Left over Lasagna.

Pastrami with a little butter and your bread in your heated goggle bag. Steak and cheese works real well like this.

Left over shepards pie.

Forget your lunch? At the gas station ask for a meatball sub, but wrap the balls in tinfoil for you or carry an ovenbag and put them in.

Don't get me started.........

I don't use tin foil (I will use the little left over trays) and I don't use plastic bags! Both are terrible for the health. I mostly use parchment paper. Also, very seldom will I buy prepared food (the springs rolls are a little treat) as there is just too much sodium in 'em. Saying that, here are a few things that theThing cooks up for a hot lunch at 7000'.

Here is a little video for your enjoyment:

Going to the right: spring rolls; lemon garlic shrimp; garlic, lemon zest, and some sea scallops; BBQ'd strip loin and veggies.

I always use parchment paper as well. I even found little parchment paper bags that work great.

Pastys are awesome in the muffpot. You can inject them with gravy too.
Put them in an oven bag and they are nice and warm at lunch, even if they are frozen when you take off!

We like to mix it up with leftovers, goulashes, and such.

Parchment paper is the best as others have noted.

Our standby is these things, they're delicious and perfectly sized for the muff pot!

Been a fan of Sriracha meatloaf and lasagna lately, works awesome in the thing and the foil loaf pans!
