what, you don't want to share the conditions??? I'm hurt... but really, what's it like around there these days?
LOL. He's the one who asked for a PM, phone call etc. I just told him about the weather station at the old ski bowl and other areas up that way. They will give you the snow depth also. We usually only go up there in the spring for one ride as it's a 3 hr. Drive. But you can get up to the snow at that elevation to start riding. Around here (Janesville, Susanville) our elevation is to low for the staging areas to last very long.
