MT. Baker is OPEN

The Mt. Baker NRA is now open to snowmobiles. Last night’s mountain snow pushed us over the 24” inch snow depth requirement. I will put up the OPEN sign today on Hwy 20. Be advised there are still rocks, sticks, and logs exposed with no ice bridge across Rocky Creek. The groomer will wait until there is approx.. 4 feet of snow before working at the NRA. hopefully! when there is no snow bridge, it kinda sucks... doesn't suck to cross the creek on a sled..that's easy..it sucks when a guy's Yamaha breaks down up top, and you happen to be at the creek just as the guy is getting towed down...and being a good sledder you help the two guys carry the sled across the creek, in knee deep water.

luckily yamahas are light.

not speaking from expereince or anything :face-icon-small-win
