MOTORFIST going out of business?

I noticed motorfist is clearing everything out on their site and not restocking with anything new. They were bought out by Arctic Cat years back which is now obviously owned by Textron. I think the writing is on the wall for the brand unfortunately. They made great gear!

I bought one of their top-line mono suits and a few pairs of gloves last spring when they had big sales and I've been really happy with them so far. It's gotta be hard to make it in the industry. It's not that big of a pool of customers, seasonal, new companies trying to break in, and everyone is looking for a deal all the time. Will be sad to see them go the way of HMK, Slednecks, TAG, etc.

Arctic Cat has been running the same sales on their site too. Hopefully with the release of the new sled platform and motors they are just cleaning shop for a re-launch effort.

This is the first I have heard of it....

I picked up jackets at 80% off for my grandsons I wasn't fast enough to get bibs they were gone pretty fast.

I picked up a pair of gloves (3X) and a jacket for outdoor work (wood cutting and trail clearing).
The Arctic Cat site looks about the same, clear out all inventory regardless of what it takes to make it gone.

Call 877-FIST-411 or visit www.motorfist.com for more details on the products and warranty.

I'm thinking this might be the last "Kmart" sale. They also made gear for Arctic Cat somewhat recently and AC is dumping all their riding gear as well.

It’s always disappointing to see another company like MotorFist shutting down, especially when their gear has been a go-to for so many riders. It really makes you wonder what went wrong—was it market changes, customer feedback, or something behind the scenes? I’ve found that when I’m curious about a company’s struggles or even just how they handle customers, PissedConsumer is a great resource. I’ve used it a few times to get insights into businesses and their practices, and it’s been super eye-opening. If you’re ever curious about what’s happening with a brand, it’s worth a look.

I don’t know that motofist is shutting down, but now typing motofist.com take you straight to Arctic Cat, used to be able to order directly from Motofist, with the stuff going on at AC, makes one wonder how long till MF is truly gone from our sport.😒

this thread is more than a year old
MF is gone

On the chopping block, probably, but does not appear to be down for the count just yet...

As Wyobob touched on, Arctic Cat apparel and Motorfist are now a joint website. If you search the site for Motorfist, you'll get a few select items that appear to be new/updated for this season.

🤷‍♂️

Motorfist is top notch gear. I own a ton of stuff and would put their gear right up there with Klim. Easily better clothing than 509, Fly or FXR IMO

I have a Motorfist jacket and gloves. I bought the jacket at the snow show years ago and it's very comfortable and fit's me perfectly. It will be a sad day when it finally wears out.
On a similar note, we lost our snow show a couple of years ago. Which is too bad because it was the perfect place to try on gear to see what fits and you could buy it on the spot. On-line shopping has it's advantages, but when it comes to gear, sometimes the best gear is what fits correctly.

I couldn't agree more. I'm disproportionately built so mail order seldom works out well.
