Most of us ride like this and this sled looks like its fun to ride.

You notice how low he has the bars on that sled? Probably 3-4" lower than the stock 6" riser on the spring sleds we saw.

850's bar height is every thing on that sled. Big riser will get ripped off soon as it's on my deck.

Pretty sure that was Bretts demo sled, hense the handle bars, looks like Brett and Luke Read riding in that video...

Still looks like its gonna be a wheelie/trenching machine. I really have high hopes for the this motor being an animal with just a Sidekick type pump gas turbo, but think its gonna be uncontrollable.
Gonna be fun to see how they work this year, just wish they didn't have the small drivers and steep approach angle. I think that is gonna be its biggest down fall.

ever hear of trying to adjust your suspension? the doo are a little "fun" from the factory, but doing a few quick adjustments will go a long ways to keep the front end down. snowest mag was talking about the g4 being light on the front end, but like every other mag they dont take the time to adjust anything.my xm had no problem keeping the front end down and sidehilling.

Yep. Just look at that steep approach angle. Haha. The axys with a 2.6 track is a 20.02" circumference driver. The axys 3" track is 21" circumference. The G4 is a 21" circumference. So that throws the small driver argument out the window. As far as the wheelie aspect that's easily fixed with better valving and stiffer springs. Stock suspensions are too soft and valved wrong from all 4 manufacturers so it's a cost that I just figure into buying a new sled.

Thanks for the info I didn't realize the 6 tooth were the same size, thats good news... I thought the approach angle was worse on the G4 then the Axys? I like what Cat did the dropped angle and big drivers this year.

I still think the Axys trenches worse then the Pro but I think its the track difference.... I wonder how the 2.5 will work on the G4 compared to the 3 inch?

Skidoo did a drop and roll in 15 on the T3 incase folks forgot. Polaris did a slight drop and roll on the Axys 3" I believe?.?.

Skidoo has the bad habit of making their approach angle look way worse in their advertising. But it is still steeper than the axys.
I agree that the axys trenches worse than the pro but I think it has more to do with the stiffer track than driver size. A few of the guys I ride with said their axys' were harder to set up suspension wise than the pro. Mostly because it's harder to get them to not trench.

I think the G4 3" may have an issue with it unless the fts is set really soft. I rode a 165 2.5" G4 and I really liked it. It seemed to get up on top of the snow really well. I don't know how the 3" does.
