Anyone experiencing a lot of oil loss resulting from stuck roll overs? I can’t say I’ve experienced this much with other sleds.

I do have a insert I pulled from my skidoo after I sold it. Its fits perfect, but maybe that’s the issue.

Anyone else experienced this?

Due to the higher temps in the summer I would expect it to warp more then than the winter time. Just figured 8 months with the ring in place would not be warped too badly by 4 months in the winter without it.
But what do I know...

Look closely at your cap mine wouldn’t screw on straight with the insert and leaked. I took out the insert and the cap screws on correctly and doesn’t cross thread haven’t rode the snowmobile yet but I’m pretty sure that will solve it.

I don’t think you’re going to have an issue either. Just leave the cap on and dream about snow coming during the summer. ?

I agree, 100%. Mine had the insert and wouldn’t screw on very well at least all over the place. After removing the insert, it appeared to screw on quite nice and I don’t think there will be a problem. Yet another possible self inflicted problem sled owners do to their machines.??

So true I do a lot of mods to my snowmobiles. I go by the 25% rule.
25% chance the mod will make your snowmobile better, 25% chance it won’t hardly change or help anything, 25% chance it will actually make it worse, 25% chance it will make it better. We have much better odds at the casino.
Especially if you’re on snowest a lot I’ve bought lot of stuff to fix problems I didn’t even know I had yet just because I read about them here.
