So im looking at buying a 2010 sno pro 600 tommorrow, and i was wondering if anyone could give me a list of things to look for. Im familiar with race sleds, but not with this chassis. And i know this isnt the right forum, but there isnt one for the sno pro chassis. Its also pretty busy in here. Hoping i can get some good info,

Thanks
Dakota

my son a and I have had a few of them. him and his buddies still have sno pros. the chassis is rock solid and tough as nails. the motor is strong and bullet proof.

the pros in our group are ridden pretty hard, and the only common problem we noticed on all the sno pros was weak jackshaft and driveshaft bearings. they all need the bearings checked and replaced frequently.

Well i got there and it was pretty beat :( So i decided against it. The left hand board was cracked, the engine bay had a quite a bit of corrosion/rust going on, everything just looked straight up beat. I guess ill just keep my eyes open, and keep looking. Appreciate the info Nikstrik7!

its a sad fact about race sleds but unless you are getting a sno pro from the original race team that bought it new, they are usually raoched junk. The typical person that buys them second hand, gets one because they are "cool" abuse the sled, never do any maintenance to it, then try to sell it for a lot of money.
