I think it would be the same as they didn't change the body style until about the '99 or 2000 model and still wouldn't think the tank would be any different quantity.
thanks. that did it. they are fine sleds. get one now, and take your time setting it up. i put on sidehiller 2 skis, a 136 x 1.25 track and 2 inch drop brackets. i have a xtra-10 skid ready for it too. my 8 year old grandson can start it himself and this sled really goes in the powder with a 60# kid. the only thing i don't like is he is only good for about 50 miles because the tank has a hump in the bottom and it tends to only use about 5 gallons before a refill, hence my tank question. i'm trying to figure out how to keep the pickup tube over to the side to use most the gas. i'll get it.
1.25 with the 9 tooth drivers. it only gives you .25 clearance at the front of the tunnel. 8 tooth would give another 1/2 " for a 1.5 x 133.5 which can be had for cheap. i had the 1.25 by 136 on hand so i just put it in. i did a 1 inch setback. the sled will gps a littleover 50 mph. so if you think that is fast the 8 tooth drivers will slow it down about 11%. i don't think i would go taller than a 1.5 cause it will pull more snow forward and clearance will become more of an issue. the track i put on was off of a o8 trail rmk and there are plenty of them around too.
