Extremely high avy warning.
2 avalanches today on The Snoqualmie side.
One at alpental that took out a skier and broke his femur (see full story on Kiro). He was Airlifted out and is at harborview.
Second was on the back side of Gallagher and reportedly has involved multiple snowmobilers. Unconfirmed how many caught but Kiro and KCSO are reporting that it was multiple and at least one is severely injured and due to conditions they cant get the KCSO rescue chopper up there until sunday so he stayed the night with ground support.
Even more crazy is i think Mike Duffy was doing a class 1 avy class at last resort today.
Here on the Taneum ridge side, its currently 1:50am and i have received 8" of new pow since 6pm.
