and its interesting, now the army guy might be getting in trouble for expressing his views.

its not that he is getting into trouble for expressing his views, he is getting into trouble for doing it in uniform, which violates multiple regulations he has the DUTY obey due to being in the military

one peculiar side effect of joining the service, you arent allowed to use some of the freedoms you uphold and protect, and have to adhere to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ)

Military rules prohibit participation in “partisan political” events as a speaker or organizer and mandate that servicemembers avoid media interviews in which they advocate “for or against a partisan political party, candidate, or cause.”
Troops are allowed to attend political events as spectators, but not while in uniform.

now before you condemn this as stupid, remember, we in the military have a different set of rules we have to go by, because, sometimes, lives are at stake

yeah I was noticing that. not too smart on his part...

and a 10 yr cpl? does that mean he's not the brightest in the bunch?

but hey that just means you don't have to be a genius to understand what's good for our country.... :)

maybe because it was stupid?

You do know that China had a stimulus larger than that of the US right. Also, why would China be happy about the dollar worth nothing... that is the denominations of the debt that they hold..

If we went down and our economy collapsed, China would be in a world of hurt...

Not tottally.... they've got enough industrial **** in their country, and it's growing. and if we keep going, in 3038 ( or whenever the future date was in the ad ) it wouldn't be a problem. you see how fast we went down in the last 8 years..... that money is going somewhere. I have a pretty good idea.

Well I am in the Army and ya can't express your political views in uniform. This soldier knew this.

Ya it is extremely interesting how the media excludes Ron Paul...why...because the power that controls all the money...controls the media...the FEDERAL RESERVE. They fear Paul tremendously! They are anti-freedom! They need their puppets in the White House...Paul is not a puppet.

Yah, and the reason for it is so that we don't turn into Egypt.. where the military has a lot of political power...

Or maybe it is so that the soldiers can't voice their opinions while generals and others can still voice their opinion... There's a thought..

That is a good point.

They tell us we can't talk politics while on duty or in uniform because it may undermine our leaders and the mission.
