I AGONIZED over this choice for the last 2 months.
In the end it came down to practicality.

The Yamahas are heavy, but they are also damn near bullet proof. And after I got this up on the scale in the air and compared it side by side to the Ski-Doo Summit X, there was only 80lbs of real world difference.

The Yamaha wins for me.

Alot of people love them, I would have to spend a couple days in some good snow to come to my own conclusion. It's a sweet sled and I am sure you will love it!

I am gonna have to come up and break in my sled with you when I get it

Congrats - you can also add #1 in BOOST and HP to weight with a"simple mod"

Congratulations and welcome to the madness. Yamahas are worth the weight in gold. Been on em since 05, switched from being a die hard Polaris rider. Have not even considered going back. When my friends are out of fuel and want to go home, I have plenty left to play on the way back to the trucks.

Just curious how this would fly. Welcome to the "NYO" aka New Yamaha Order.

You will love it. It does take some extra fines to move it around, but we all can adapt quickly.

I switched from cat to Yamaha (Apex), no regrets here. But it does take some getting use to it, you have to "ride" these 4 strokes. Use your body, and dont get lazy on them, they will toss you.

Congrats Chris! You wont regret riding a Nytro. Just make sure you play with the suspension and get it setup for you....setup is KEY to enjoying your sled. I was ready to burn mine to the ground one day in the deep before I got it dialed in. After it was setup right I've loved it ever since.

I am inclined to go the "Super-Charger" route over the Turbo, but I won't do anything till this summer. Long after I have had some time to learn all the real details of this new sled and put some serious miles on her.

As for where to ride, I hope to get her out on the rode and ride in many different places.

are you planning on putting a pivot riser on or a relocator?
if you go the relocator route i recomend the oft one. alot of people really like these and are proven to hold up.

I had a pivot riser, then switched to a steering post relocator.
I like the steering post relocate much better.
