Halfway???

I wish!! but I am taking the wife and son up this weekend. They are not ready for that trip yet so we'll be at Tollgate.

HA! I was there today! Snow was ok, needed more after last weekend. It looked like it must of rained then turned to snow. rail up to Fishlake was hardpack even with the groomer going over it today.

Made our first trip there this week. Great town and nice people. The weather was not very cooperative though the first two days. The last day the weather was a bit better but the sled(s) were not cooperative. Even with some bad luck this will hopefully become an annual trip.

Never thought i would see the day when Tolgate had more pow than Halfway, and has more base than fishlake, another one of those strange years, but blue sky is awesome no matter where you are

We road Friday the 27th. We came in on the 39 road, this is the one that takes off from hwy 86 about 10 miles below Halfway. The snow was hard and we had to stop numerous times to kick some snow into the the track area. Some one didn't have any ice scratchers (me). After we got up to the 66 road and headed up towards Twin Lakes we found quite a bit of powder and it was great riding. Can someone advise how the riding is going up from the snow park? Is the snow hard or can you find enough fresh to keep things working? Thank you

halfway trip???

Just curious if the snow condition would be worth a trip to halfway this week? We are planning a 3-4 day riding trip... How is the snow and coverage up there?

X2!!

Foxy, Marmot - whatcha think? Gonna be around?

I'll be there this coming weekend! :D I sure hope Marmont gets Stella back from the clinic.

The trail was hardpack on the lower part on the 26th (hookie day) but got better towards Fishlake. Found some powder in areas that no one has been into that day, but we had two sleds break down that day, so the trip was short.

From the looks of the forecast theres a possibly in the next couple of days and then again Friday. No matter, it seems that where we go its always good. :face-icon-small-win
