Got my new seat and loved it......

Posted this in General but thought some Dragon guys might miss it.

Just thought I would pass along the info. on a new custom seat manufacturer. Took mine out for the first ride this last Saturday. Absolutely loved it. The model on my sled is a Mountain Assault plus II (+2" in height).

Sounds like Wasatch Recreational Products is producing custom Mountain Assault Seats, Mountain TUFF Running Boards and Mountain AIRE Vent Kits for the newer models of the Big 4 Manufactures.

Props to WRP for being so great to work with.

Polaris doesn't sell the bottom plastic pc. alone so they need your seat or at least the plastic plate. It's new foam and cover. Polaris seats are pretty soft but this thing is comfy. The grip is also amazing.

$329. Dropped mine off Thurs. and picked up on Friday.

You must be a tall guy... the stocker is almost too tall for many... I'm looking for an SP flatland seat to trade right now..

Maybe they can make it in a -1" height.

What is the weight of your new seat?

6'3" and yes I was a little worried about tossing my legs over but didn't even notice. Was very nice to sit down with my 3" RSI riser.

I am buying a seat for my XP this summer. The MAIN reason I am going aftermarket is for some storage and a little narrower. If you can figure a clean way to put even a small amount of storage in the back of your XP seats I think you will sell more. I know I would buy one. Looks good!!

Just curious if these boards have seen very many miles on a sled. There was a rumor tht drilling into the side of the RAW tunnel causes creases and cracks. That would be expensive!
