HI iam working on two 96 cougar mountain cats can any one tell me a good clutch setup they are both 550 and have
red primary
50.5 gram weights
yellow secodary middle hole
49 helix
rpm to be 8000 also 20/39 gearing with 8 tooth drivers and 1.250 tracks
From what I remember the stock setup worked quite well on the 550 sleds. I wouldn't recommend changing anything. If you have your heart set on messing with it try a roller cover on the driven clutch and drop about two degrees on the cam.
