I picked up my Expert 165 with standard gauge yesterday. I traded in my 2022 and pulled a few things off last years sled to transfer over. Has anyone installed the USB plug on their new sled? It was pretty awesome to know I had my phone and inReach 100% juiced while riding.
Additionally the large screen sleds come with a rad zipped phone holder that is attached to the lid of the glovebox. Has anyone located the glove box cell phone holder part #? Or found an aftermarket solution?

I believe there was a video of the USB plug install last season and I can not find one for the new sled. It is nice to have an exact idea of which plug I am locating under the hood. Additionally I looked into the compatibility and it looks like the old part number supersedes to this years plug. (copy and paste product info from a retailer's site below). The old part number was 1261 the new one is 2433.
  • Provides clean, stable power to recharge your electronics while riding
  • Dual USB ports
  • Includes wiring harness
  • Plug-and-play installation
  • Not compatible with 7.8 in. wide LCD color display
SKU# 860201261

Superseded To: 860202433

I have a 2023 Expert with the 10.25 screen and removed the phone holder. It took up so much space in the small glove box I couldn't fit my spare goggles in it. The goggle just fit now with the phone holder removed.

Some dealers are saying the new one isn't available until March but ski doo website shows it available. Has anyone got one yet?

I have one. I ordered it in March when I ordered my Expert with the small gauge and then ended up grabbing an Expert with the large gauge and didn't need the kit.

i just installed extended glove box and usb port on new 2023 expert....not too hard. accessory plug is located under the screen ( i have the small 2 button screen). I used instrutions.brp.com and looked up both part numbers....pictographs are poor but still managed.

I notice 2 accessory plugs. When seated on snowmobile right side has 2 pin plug. The left side has a 3 pin plug, the additional wire colour is white. Thinking it’s for a visor heater?.

I love the extended glove box... And USB/c plug charger. Ran them on 2 2019 sleds and they were great. Because I have to roll the sled over from time to time, I added a janky pin/hasp to lock it...so I don't yard sale.

Also expect crap from the fashion and self perceived super sledders...

No worries about breaking it or the hood. I roll my sled over alot. Does that add extra wind protection, and prevent snow from hitting you or does it redirect it to your helmet. The G5 has horrible storage.

Thanks for posting those pictures. It gives me an idea of what the low windshield I ordered will look like too.

How does it normally lock? Was wanting to add it to mount a trail tech to it. Side profile is fine but head on looks goofy. Wish they would have went half way in between.

I don't think it does much for the snow in the deep pow....quick hand swipe to the goggles now and then.
