Fuel Range on M1000?

Put 50 miles on this weekend in 2-2.5' of fresh powder.

Pounded it hard.

Burned 12 to 12.5 gallons. About the same as my old 900 1M.

About 4MPG

I honestly expected better with the EFI and crap.

You know that is pretty damn bad. Hell Jet boats can get that kind of mileage.

Hey, lied on this one. Just went and filled everything up.

8.6 gallons in 50 miles. I was guessing on the amount of fuel left in the tank. But underestimated the amount held in the bottom. The guage was on E but I must have had plenty left after dumping in my 2 1/2.

Test rode this weekend, new sled, 5-6 mpg riding more trail than I care too and some steep hill climbing, with the price of fuel, 2s oil and engine rebuilds a turbo Nytro just might be my next sled. Looks like the cost will be a wash but alot less time spent on non-riding activities. Just my exerience and thoughts, by the way we had two m1ks and they both barely made it back to the trailer, and ended our day about two hours sooner than we wanted.
