Fuel pump interchange

Will a fuel pump from a 98 powder special 600 efi fit a 93 ext 580 efi? Not concerned so much about the pick up tubes and wiring but the actual pump motors... do they interchange?
BTW I've got some parts off a 98 powder special 600 efi for sale if anyone is interested.

Fuel pump

The fuel pump numbers are different 1670-635 for the 93 and 3005-268 for the 98 the ecu's are different in the two sleds made by different manurfacuers.

My opinion is don't do it. the pump for the 93 is $160 and the 98 is $400. Just buy the right pump. The 93 is battery efi and the 98 is batteryless efi.
