found weak point on the xps

were at lost lake over the weekend had 3 xps 1 154 2 146 lots of jumping no bent rails but did break rear idlers and bent rails on my cmx landed on concrete snow,thats all folks!

I did the same thing with my 162 RT last year on a ride at MT Baker. With the help of BigSkins, Whitefish and Summit800, two 4 inch sacraficial trees, we were able to bend them back, and ride the rest of the day.

why do we have to title each reply?

Get pulled with snowshoes on your feet compared to solid bottomed platforms the same square footage. then see what floats on the snow..

What I am am saying is the snowshoe and a snowmobile track are different. A snowshoe does not sink because it is planted on the ground, a cheeze grater will not cut cheeze inless it is pulled.

A snowmobile track is not planted on the ground while going through soft powder... it slides, like a cheeze grater. If it is set up... well a pure mesh track would suffice as well as a ported or solid track...

So you are saying that a heavily ported track will trench?.......I have not found this to be the case.
