dragon problems??

I'm not a Polaris guy but ended up with a 09 dragon and it starts and runs fine but the headlight and dash flash on and off and then it will eventually die. Wondering if it's electrical or what?

Sounds like the voltage regulator

I believe that sled has VR problems with consequent stator problems. Probably need to replace both after you make sure its not a problem with the main harness.

yup... Then put a cheap computer case fan on it. you can find a 12/14v port on the harness just below the shock tower.

Ok thanks guys I hate electrical issues sounds like this one might suck to get figured out.

I think they are on the 5th or 6th rev on that voltage regulator. Id replace that first.

They came with the idle set to low. I had the dealer reset mine and problem fixed. When they idle low, they don't make enough juice to keep the gauge running.
