Difference between 2018 and 2019 ?

Looking to buy a used 165 3" over the summer and I was wondering what was different from the 18 to the 19 I know that the secondary clutch is different anything else? Thanks Brad

19s got the new pre-filter with air pump design thing that mounts to the inside of the panel.

There were some service bulletins on engine mounts, but I'm not sure if all 2018s received them.. Might have been a case where they didn't fix anything if it wasn't broken.

Personally, I would take the vin number of any sled and check with your dealer to see if has had any warranty claims.. If they check out I'd feel good purchasing any year 850.

The oil injection on the case is different on the 2019 models vs the 2017-18 models. Suppose to deliver better oiling to the rod bearings.

I believe the 19 has straight rails, vent in the panel to move air better, different clutch setup that works a little better, revised track molding to improve life and I’m sure a whole host of other little things

How did you hear about the new track molding and what did you hear?

Norona

Has material added to the track to make it tougher is what I heard I believe

You might be confusing the new tracks in the 2020 Catalog called Powdermax HD. Those are supposed to be beefier, but I don't think they are stock, they are an accessory.
