Dealer cost to change track and skid?

I have a PC going into the Apex and a KMOD skid with two wheel axle, using the stock rails. How long should this take a dealer to install, change the track, drivers and bolt in the skid? I also have steering colum bushing, and a throttle cable to do....I'd appreciate your experienced calculations on hours for these jobs. I don't have the time at the moment to do it myself and considering having it done but don't want to get robbed. I was quoted 10 hours @ 75.00 an hour for the above mentioned.

Sounds about right. Any reason you cant do the work yourself? Its not hard just time consuming.

Last year it cost me 400.00 to change drivers, track, and skid on a nytro. Just the other day I had to change my drivers, and in about 30 minutes I had the skid and drivers off.(this was done alone) The reinstall should take about twice as long( again alone)

some times it takes longer than you think when installing an aftermarket skid.
Following the directions to a tee can be tedious. cr

time consuming....

I'd love to have the time to do all my own wrenching....save money and put it in the sled. More importantly I'd know beyond a doubt that it was done RIGHT! I feel fairly confident in the mechanic, a friend and known him a while but you just never know....you know what I mean? I figured 10 hours for everything was fair but I may end up doing some of it in another shop. Currently I only have "God's Garage"........ my leased shop space shared between two friends and I is taken. I don't want to wait another 6 weeks....so the shop is my only option. Thanks for your input guys!
