Crossfire 700 cutting out

the guy I bought it from just took off the rubber rubber that goes from the airbox on the hood the the one in the belly pan, the airbox on the hood is still there. And I tried putting duck tape over the aftermarket air vents on the airbox in the belly pan and it didnt do anything

You need to post a pic of exactly what your air intake looks like.

Just went through this same issue with my m8... it was the reeds. Took me a few days to figure out.

Here's a video of it, and yes the wore harness is gone cause we are trying it on a buddies sled that is having electrical issues

My guess is your intake set up. My buddy had the same issue with bogging on his M7 and he had an aftermarket intake.. Can do borrow your buddies air box and plenum to try? takes about 10 minutes to change..

Id also take these guys advice and check out them reeds.. or have someone who knows how to do it check them.

The exhaust side has 2 little chips in the corners, I asked a guy who know a lot about them and said it won't make a difference but replace them before the do get bad. Also what is all different on my airbox from stock?

Pretty much everything. You have an SLP high flow intake on the plenum, you also have a speedwerx high flow intake going into the actual airbox. You have the small round vents in your airbox as well.

I just realized that I had my 40 degree helix in it, so I put my 36 degree helix in it and took it for a test drive, (1100 ft elovation) so I was riding down the ditch for a half mile and it was running perfect, then I slowed down and turned around and got back on it and it cut out really bad, highest rpm after that was 6700

Go to a hardward store and get some Gunk Dry Graphite spray and take your secondary inside to warm up. Spray the hub on the backside towards the dd. Let it dry and re-install. Your secondary hub and bushing are sticking. Sled can't backshift. If you ease into the throttle and get it up to speed all is normal. When you let off the throttle to slow down the secondary doesn't close and when you try to take off again it's like takin off in a higher gear. Also try an inline fuel reducer with a 290 jet. Might just be over fueling accentuated by the silencer. Or is this thing carbeurated? That would explain a lot!

It's an efi, I put my buddies m7 clutches on and it ran the same, maybe a little bit better. My reeds had 2 small chips in the corners so I ordered a good used pair and it came in the mail today, I'll put them in tomorrow and get back to you after I see how it runs
