After a good day of dyno work with the Dimsport technicians from Italy, Dave and Tom from Fastek, and our staff here at C3 Power Sports, we have made an update to the Rapid Bike 3 firmware for the Yamaha Apex. With the RB3 on our turbo apex, the motor runs clean and crisp with a smooth torque curve throughout the entire RPM range (all the way to 11,000RPM) and makes more power!



C3 Power Sports is now a dealer for Rapid Bike products. We also have our own Tuning Bike. The Tuning Bike is module that plugs into the Rapid Bike and adjusts the fuel map based on input from a wideband O2 sensor while you ride your machine. Tuning has never been so easy!
 
It is our own C3 custom mid mount turbo that we built to fit the apex motor in our carbon M chassis. It dyno'd at 330hp, 170ft-lbs torque at 15lbs boost on pump gas with methanol water injection and no intercooler. And a full fuel wet weight of 555 lbs
 
How much is the rapid bike and wide band tuner for a SC apex and do you have maps to help get me started? Its a shimmed stage 1 running 10-11 psi on 91 and 10:1 compression.

The Tunning Bike tuner is $4000.00

Carbon Fiber Tunnel on Apex

Not quite, that has a complete C3 Carbon Fiber Composite Chassis designed of the Arctic Cat M chassis with several of C3 changes it has a turbo apex motor with a cat reverse diamond drive, 16 wide 162 track, RB3 to controll fuel and timing, a C3 carbon xp fuel tank and seat with a trunk.
 
pretty sure its 4k for the fine luxury of tuning bike

whats so special about it besides fuel and timing???


Id rather spend 2500 on a complete standalone made by MOTEC or some other WELL KNOWN companies that probably works 10 times better!!!

Seen Motoc on sleds before, true 4D mapping, 02, MAP, fuel, timing, simple programming, advanced settings, yadda yadda yadda, one of the best name SA FMS systems money can buy, PERIOD!!!

One sled that comes to mind was running stock compression, 21lbs of boost on 91 octane 1500cc tripple 4 stroke.

There is no reason to buy the "tuning bike". The "tuning bike" is used to build the maps for the RB3, it is not part of the RB3 hardware. And the "tuning bike" is a luxury for the RB3, NOT a necessity. But it does help to build your initial map. You can fine tune the RB3 with a smart phone or a laptop if you buy the software which is a few hundred dollars. all and all you can have the RB3 set up on your sled and running for around $1000 U.S.
