Bottom end work on 03 SX Viper

What would it take (parts/cost) to repair the bottom end on an 03 SX Viper? Seller says its just the 3rd cyl. I know next to nothing about these sleds, any help is appreciated. Thanks

can you be a bit more specific? that might help in the answer/suggestion department. if the crank is shot, about $1200, if the case is shot, tack on another $700. rods, bearings, misc gaskets, not much. labor depends on whats done. you kind of asked an open ended question, so its hard to pin a price tag. just a cylinder problem would be cheaper. sleds are sleds, not that much difference in the bottom ends.

I would consider to buy a new (used) engine.
To repair the engine would almost cost as much as buying a used sled.
