Bikeman pipe on Turbo rev?

Has any one ran a bmp pipe on a turbo rev? I just bought one for my 04 rev and noticed in the end of the belly it has a tube that goes clear up in the belly (approx 6 to 8 inches). Im wondering if i need to cut that out or if it needs to be left in? Im nervous it will give it to much back pressure. I looked in the stock pipe and it did not have it. I have seen them on the 800r pipes but never on an HO pipe. I want to run the aftermarket pipe because it is a full seam welded pipe and i dont want to deal with the stock pipe cracking anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

its that stupid pipe mod they did, i guess they made a tad more HP.. but on my RT the insert broke loose and lodged in sideways... wanna talk about bad HP!! just get yourslef a normal old stock pipe for a turbo sled.
