Hey just seeking any advice or personal experience's, Start out on what I have, its a 2014 crf450 with the 2015 timbersled long track, It has the boondocker turbo set up on it and the bike runs pretty good but am as of all things am wanting a little more. I have been looking at the 511 big bore kits for when I rebuild the bike this summer. I'm sure there are guys out there that have done this with a turbo and am wondering if you think its worth the money and if the big bore made up for the turbo lag, any advice will be greatly appreciated Thanks and happy riding!!!

I have a front mount kms turbo with the big bore... Very little lag...... Please see attached dyno comparison between stock and big bore, cnc head and bored throttle body.... Keep in mind for my set up it gave you a much longer and usable rpm... Along with more hp and torque earlier.

That's huge

Wow that's impressive, didn't even think about the usable rpms like you brought up, that's worth it right there. Are running the timbersled kit? Did you change the gears up in your kit? It seems like my bike runs strong but more then often I find myself getting in the turbo and instantly bouncing the Rev limiter. Also are you running a rekluse with your set up and if so any problems over powering it? Thanks man Super helpful

I run a rekluse set up for the turbo... Works great. I have a 15 Lt with a 16 track... I started with a 20 in the chain case and 13 counter.. which it pulled but if you got stuck it felt like it really stressed the clutch... So right now I am 17 17 in the chain case...With a 13... To be honest it is new this year and I ran into an electrical issue I will hopefully have figured out this week. Been 3 weeks trying to figure it out... I want 18 17 in the chain case but they don't make that combo for the 15... I left mine a little rich on the top end to slow down hitting the rev limiter for now...

Thanks

Dang good luck gettin her all figured out sounds like a sweet build, thanks for the info, you've pretty much got me convinced with doing the big bore this summer seems like alot of advantages!

Make sure to upgrade the head studs ..Yep down to either power Commander or secondary injector hopefully close
