Are SLp powder pro skis worth getting?

dont know who the skis are on the new Ms but i got a set on my 07 M1K and i luv them. awesome in the fluffy stuff and i dont have a problem on hard packed trails either like some guys mentioned. WAAAAY better than the stock skis on my M7 :face-icon-small-sho id get them any day

you will hate them on crusty snow where you break through, they will toss you everywhere, i got rid of mine

For the M's I prefer the stock ski over PP.

I agree with that. Powder pros are okay once you get used to them but I still like the stock skis better. I wouldn't spend the money on them. I'd put it towards clutching and venting.

got a 2011 m8 and was thinkin about getting some slp powder pro skis. Are they worth getting or should I use the money on something else? I already have a super q can. I have read that some people like them and some dont. any thoughts?

I have tried Simmons Gen II's and Powder Pros on my 09, and I wound up selling the Gen II's and the PPs are sitting on the shelf right now.

The reason? Entirley too damned hard to steer in anything but 3'+ of fresh pow.

For some reason the 08+ cat spindles require a LOT more steering effort than the older 05-07 ones did apparently, and the stock ski was designed around this .... Which sucks, because the PP's are WAY better than the stockers in the powder ....

I never thought my M was tough to steer until I tried putting aggressive skis on it, then holy cow :(
