ABS Escape vs Vario Opinions

Looking for some constructive opinons on these two packs. I'm buying an ABS pack this year, not sure on a new Vario or a used Escape. I fill an SOS backpack now. I'm thinking of the Vario with 15/30L packs.

Pro's and Con's of packing ability, shovel/probe storage, How they fit the tall riders(I'm 6'2") etc.

No comments on price, that's been beat to death on several other threads.

None , other than the freeride hold a shovel very well. Other than that i have had both and prefer the vario for many reasons. There maybe a freeride 20 next year that will hold the shovel and probes properly. Call RMX and see. sj

I'm 6'1" and love the Vario 30. I've never owned the excape but I prefer the stype and flexibility of the Vario.
