A arms gen5 compatibility with gen 4

Hmm I was told they were different length, when I got fox evol R shocks for the wife’s gen 5. Maybe there was some stiction on the new ones because fully extended there was about 1/2 difference in length between them and a set of take offs from my old gen4. Go figures. Sorry about that.

They are the same. A reverse search shows a same part number used 2020 through 2024.
There is however some clearance issues with the reservoir with certain piggybacks on G5's that were fine on G4's apparently.

My raptors went from my g4 to g5 only one not compatible is rear track shock

The shock length is different on the 34 inch set up vs the 36

This is not correct. 34" and 36" have the same shock length.

But you can't use doo´s piggy bag shocks from 36" front suspension because they hit upper A-arm.

Fox has some shocks that have thin piggy bags that will fit on 34".

Enzo racing also has kyb 40 that fit the 34" front end
