So this is the deal. Had the top end rebuilt by the local shop. I have currently road the sled at most 10 times. Last time out it blew the center cylinders gasket ring out the side...... This sounds like something was done wrong on the rebuild?

that motor has a notorious problem with water pump failing and leaking water out of the cooling system. When you lose water your temp gauge will not work.

So I originally bought this used and has been lightened up so everything is stripped off....... Ie no gauge..... I check the coolant every ride but I should have lost a significant amount of coolant from the over flow right....?it is actually spew fuel from the middle cylinder....

If you have anti-freeze in over flow that is a good sign. Basically what happens is the pump goes bad and leak out a weep hole. Your hot light should still work. My brother had a zrt 600. He kept losing the center cylinder. It turn out to be the water pump. It was leaking which is pretty easy to tell if that is happening to you. Should be leaking out the belly pan. You probably have another issue.

I appreciate it we were losing some coolant it turns out but the exhaust did not smell sweet..... On this sled there in only a gauge with rpms unfortunately looking back now that is stupid.... There was so much fuel in the pan I could not tell if there was coolant. I think I should order a pump anyways while the gaskets is being replaced if eh are a common problem.
