97 mm 700 trip. bars broke off after rolling

rolled my buddies sled in alpine last week and the handle bars broke @ the weld where the bars meet the steering shaft. what is the easiest way that shaft comes out ? any help appreciated.

drill out the plate or die grind then pound 4-6 inches solid pipe into the steering post leaving out just enough to slide through and weld to plate done several they all break sooner or later set up stock

You have to remove the carbs and airbox, undo the motormounts then you can roll the motor forward far enough to put a block of wood under it to hold it up. Then you can get to the bottom mount for the steering post.
