92 ext 580 intake question

I just picked up this sled for cheap. Everything looks good except for the rubber boots between the carbs and airbox have rips in both boots. Is this something that can cause issues? It also bogs off idle...I'm thinking needle and seats but I have also read that these might have clutch issues which can cause low end bog. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

check your boots between carb and engine as well..they could have cracks causing a lean bog...you can seal the boots with black silicone or tommy silicone tape to get ya going

These came set up too lean on the bottom. See if the last owner has ever rejetted it. Go up one size or two on the pilot jets with jet needle in the middle.
