2025 Boost - P-22 clutch verdict?

I lapped my clutch to crank on my 25 9r right from new. Also did carbon sled fix, with fire and ice arp bolt. Only 380 miles, but the bolt never moved. I put a paint marker line from bolt to the cover, so I can just look at it. No need to keep checking torque.
What if the bolt stretches but does not turn? It still could fail if this is happening.
 
The odds are its not bolt stretch causing the bolt to come loose its the clutch sliding onto the taper during the riding process. id also wager the arp bolt is the best bolt in the business.

What makes you think that? With the clutch sheave banging open under that bolt constantly, it could easily be that the bolt stretches.

My thoughts are that this dosen't happen to every sled, so there must be a variable that takes place. Since we have a joint at the sleds crankshaft and two dissimilar metals that react to heat differently and the polaris fix is to replace the bolt and tighten the snot out of it.

I feel Its logical to think that Polaris is thinking the clutch is seating itself further onto the crankshaft during operation and causing the bolt to get loose. Also there are many posts here talking about lapping the clutch to the crankshaft and retightening using the stock bolt with zero issues.

Personally my boost the bolt was not tight to spec after the first ride, again it moved on the second ride. been tight ever since. Once i pulled the clutch, Lapped the primary to the crankshaft and tightened it it has not moved when retorquing. thats my .02
 
Odd question, but ... Has anybody tried the Kurt's Polaris roller bearing delete kit in conjunction with the Carbonsled P22 fix kit?


Looking at this, I don't see any reason it wouldn't work as you're replacing the fixed sheave shaft with the Kurt's kit?

Just use Kurts.
 
The roller bearing is the only advantage the P22 has and maybe the longer weight bushings. If we keep at this long enough we’ll eventually turn the p-22 into a P-85 without actually just putting on the P-85
 
There is a guy in Alberta building the same piece as Kurt's ( maybe that's where they get them from) price is more reasonable from the source I have 450 miles on mine no issues pm me if you want the contact info
