The Sierra Snowmobile Foundation has taken legal action against the USFS in the 9th circuit over the first snowmobile travel management plan in the nation. This plan in the Stanislaus National Forest closes 86% of the forest to snowmobile use. This plan is only the first, and the requirement to implement these plans applies to every snowbound forest in the country, even yours! This is not just a California thing, this process is coming to the places you ride.
