2018 Ski-Doo DESS Key Spare

I can back this one up.
We bought three 850s last year and had ONE spare key coded to fit all three sleds just in case any one of the primary keys was lost or misplaced.

Oh great, now all I can think about is my DESS key flinging into the deep pow!

Thanks for pointing out one more thing I need to add to my list of goodies. :)

I don't know why you need multiple spares... I had my 850's keyed alike or maybe they made my keys work on both. Either way I keep one spare in my back pack that will work on either of my 850's.

You definately don't, if you have two or three or more sleds, key them all the same and have 1 spare.

The tether has a fixed code that the MPEM reads when plugged in/on. The MPEM stores the code - up to five different tethers/codes can be stored in the MPEM. A single tether can be programmed into an unlimited number of sleds. FWIW.

We have always made one spare for each sled (we typically have two). Didn't know one dess could be programmed for more than one sled code. Dealer never mentioned it. Thanks Norona!
