Spent the day riding yesterday and while there was plants of snow up top the overall quality was pretty poor at this point. Way too much HEAT everywhere we looked. Trees are completely green and all snow was old and consolidated/hard. Feels like late April not late march

Went up to Keg Springs yesterday, had the place to ourselves. The conditions considering the warm temps weren't bad, trails up still have adequate snow, and there's still decent coverage up high, though the snow base softens up pretty good in the PM. Looks like things will hold up for at least another week. Was it an epic ride? Nah not so much, but it was better than staring at a computer reading people piss and moan about not being able to ride....

Took another stab at the Springs on Tuesday, blue bird a little fresh snow, made for some great spring riding. Snow's holding up pretty well. I'm surprised at how soon folks quit riding here, similar conditions back in Alaska would have the lots hopping. But no complaints here, more for me..:)

On the down side it was disappointing to see so many tracks going into the out of bounds area. Don't really care where ya come from, but if you cant follow the rules, stay home where ever the hell your from, dont come and F it up for the rest of us. There was no excuse, y'all rode right past the big *** red signs to ride a few acres when you had a few hundred square miles to enjoy behind ya... Yeah I know how y'all think, Hurray for me, and to hell with the rest of you...Y'ALL SUCK :face-icon-small-sad

Man... This winter aint got no quit in it. Picked up about five inches at the house yesterday, almost a foot up high. Snow gauges are going up, not down. Black Canyon's still bouncing around 10' and the springs probably have six or seven +. Snowing like a mo fo currently. Love the snow, but I'm trying to dig footers in a snowstorm... what a mess. Oh well, cant complain, that's why I moved here!! Should be able to ride well into May at this rate...:face-icon-small-ton

Black Canyon is still going strong in this graph.
