2012 Procross XF 800 SnoPro High Country

I think one of the updates is new rollers in the driven so that would be the time to have them change the cam. I don't think Ken's would charge much if any extra labor on that because it will be apart anyway but I would call and make sure they have a cam in stock if you want to pick it up this weekend. Don't forget the heavier weights!

I am on the phone at the moment, I will have them clutch it to my elevation. The seem like a very good dealer as so everyone has said. Just so happens that the 2 dealers closest to me dropped out, the other is extremely expensive.

Just hung up, he said it was roughly $130 for the parts, he is calling me back with installation price.

I put 1,200 miles on my 800 HC last year all in the U.P. two trips to Houghton. Sleds a blast, blew one belt up by Copper Harbor last day I rode it about 1,100 miles on that belt. My brother just got a 2013 1100 turbo HC so It will be fun to switch back and forth. I have the MADFAB board insert, Powder Pro's, HPS Exhaust and a few other goodies new on it for this year. :face-icon-small-hap

Clutching to your elevation is free. Got 875 miles on mine 30% on trail and 70% off trail belt looks cherry, still the 083. Nice sled but it trenches like a bastard in the deep but does stay on the top. I have a complete skid, track, control arms and shocks if you break anything this winter PM me. Just switched to 153 and narrow front end.

The HC comes with I believe the 6-9" ft kit, to go to the 0-3000 their is a kit, witch includes helix and weights, if you plan on going out west. Use the helix it comes with with lighter weights.

Also I recommend drilling the new lower holes in the front of the tunnel, all 2013 XF and M are setup in the lower mounting holes in the front and rear of the tunnel. I am going to also set mine up the same as the 2013.

This will help in trenching in the deep

Well I think his prices are more than fair, and his winter hours are awesome, M&M truly rocks. Chad goes above and beyond for his customers, so much so he is lucky if he gets out a couple times a season to ride; normally working 7 days a week with sled sales, service, and rentals. They have an excellent service department as well, which means a lot to me, I can buy from anyone, but I choose to buy from Chad who is 8 hrs from me.

Damn! Reason I said over priced is the lady I talked to on the phone would not give me a price even if I would have put down a down payment. She just kept telling me $12,299 which is MSRP and wouldn't allow me to talk to anyone else. Also she was rude. Granted I don't remember her name but I would not like to deal with her again. I do know that if it needs warranty work I will definitely bring it there. Do you know any good riding areas around Houghton Stack?

I personally sent an email to chad, he apologized for her actions. If I would have been able to get to talk to him right away I would have definitely purchased from them. Will now buy all accessories and will get all my work done there.

The biggest thing I noticed is how much better it takes the bumps & jumps. Feels awesome. The ski stance is still wide and it fights you on some of the one ski maneuvers. It will definitely wheelie. My canadian buddy has got some cool pics of his with the skis in the sky. You'll never want to ride a crossfire again:cheer2:

yip...she will pull mad wheelies, say good bye to that crossfire

There are a lot of good riding areas both North and South of the bridge, Houghton is a great starting point.

I'm from Mid Michigan, Its a 8 hour drive so I'm lucky if I get up there once a year with low snow every where else last year it was my only choice to ride. I like every thing from copper harbor to twin lakes. If I told you all the good spots then they would be tracked up when I do make it up there. I almost went to school there just so I could ride all the time but I went to Michigan State instead. I'm sure you will find some locals who wouldn't mind getting you lost.

How many miles you put on your belts? Seems like the proclimb xf gets good belt miles where the m's seem to eating them.

3 belts in 1200 miles...so no.. there is a heat issue/misalignment issue on the 2012 proclimb xf's 800's.my dealer is correcting my issue

LOVE MY HIGHCOUNTRY... pulls wheelies ON COMMAND. dealer will install a low elevationkit if they havnt allready so dont worry about the OVER REV. and if your worried about belt life. talk to WHITERAD on here he has a kit that seems to be a 90% fix... (just a guess) considering not everyone out there has it yet. the sled is a little wide fights you a little. but im also 6'3 215 lbs and i muscle is around without much issues. the telescoping handlebars and short seat witht the 141" by 2.25" tracks is a perfect setup in my opinion if your not planning to just climb shoots, Sled fly's very well lands smooth. the Fox Floats can take some serious bumps and keep on a truckin if you keep in the throttle they love the bumps. chassis is very sterdy in my opinion. Running boards are my least favorite part and the way the Plastics go together is a trick to get used to. This sled is a WHOLE LOT OF FUNNN! gives me a grin from ear to ear everytime i ride it. and im a guy that went thru 8 belts last year (all warranteed by the way) but with WHITE RAD fix this winter i dont believe that will be an issue. make sure you get one that has had allll i mean ALL the updates done. if this years updates arent done by the end of NOVEMBER you will not get the extra year on the warrantee. goodluck. GET A HIGHCOUNTRY you wont regret it.

My sled is sitting in Ken's Sports shop on a lift awaiting the most recent updates. My clutch is off and the oil lines are loose in preparation of the updates. My sled is first in line (pulled some strings but live 3 hours away so he was understanding). I will look into this kit but over on HCS I read that DooDoctor is working on a floating secondary kit.

Also went to send a message go "WHITERAD" and the forum says he does not exist, so.... Any Ideas?

he is a hard man to get ahold of but there is another kit that he has made previous to this one and its on Grip&ripracing.com and it does the same thing. the new one that he most recently made is only different inthat it comes with a MAG side engine support also.
Um yeah seen everyone elses engine brace kits and what they think is going to work but im a realist and WHITE RAD tests his stuff personally and if it works for the man that made it.... than it works for me. i mean im sure he knows the weakest point of the whole system at this point.
ALSO dropping one tooth on you sproket in you chain case has also been a big helper on the belt life. search the TTCF and you will find WHITE RAD there. hope i am of some help to you guys.
YOU WILL LOVE A HIGH COUNTRY... unless u expect perfection out of a first year sled than you mine as well look elsewhere nothing is perfect but its what i like and its SO FUN.

I dont want perfection (came off of a 2006 CF 600 SnoPro) but I dont want to be going through belts ever 250 miles, maybe 500 or 750 would be fine for me. I am doing some looking for ways to make the motor solid to stop the belt issues. Would make sense that once the motor moves it causes either slack or squeeze on the clutches. Would going to the new 103# primary spring be a good idea over the 130# that is in them?
