Has anyone had a problem with the whole exhaust system turning cherry red after riding at a constaint speed on there 08 RMK 600. Mine almost melted to the ground after the felt padding around the silencer caught on fire. FYI - I have an MBRP can on it. Please let me know. Thanks

Never had a problem on my 07 with that, and from factory they do have a lean spot about mid throttle, but shouldn't be the reason for your problems. First thing I would do is remove all that foam underhood, just holds in heat and gets soaked with melted snow when riding.

What speed is this happening at? Is this an EFI sled or the carb model?
