Has anyone installed a set of 10" Rear Suspension Idler Wheels from a
2019 Alpha one on a 2016 M8000 Ltd

I'm guessing you will need an Off-Set Rear Axle

Thx

How's the track to tunnel clearance at the very back when going to 10" wheels with a 3" track on the twin rail skid? I was told the lugs can't hit the back of the tunnel with my Kmod and 8" wheels. Physical testing revealed that was a lie. I realize the Kmod is different from stock, but still something I'd be checking.

My 18 mtn cat had black marks on the tunnel from the track rubbing, with stock wheels. My Alpha doesn't seem to have any rub marks but its a black tunnel so, harder to see.

I installed 2019 Alpha one wheels on a TKI 1" offset axle yesterday and installed them on my 2015 153 x 3" Proclimb yesterday. I will add a picture later but, I will certainly be watching for rubbing. There's a big difference in the turning radius of the track as it goes around the back axle. It should free up so power but, with a 153", I am worried I may be even more prone to wheelies and the sled going vertical while climbing. Time will tell.

Can always cut your tunnel. Looks better and improves performance. I plan on adding big wheels also

When shortening the tunnel, u should not fold it back down, it should go up like Doo.
When u collapse the suspension and the paddle catches the tunnel... u will understand.

How can it. Its only cut to the length of the 153 tunnel with the stock return down piece that helps add structure to the tunnel. How could it possibly hit, otherwise every stock sled would hit

U will understand

Will be putting an IceAge Elevate kit (spindles & rails) on my '17 Mountain Cat 153 this week; Should I also do the 10" wheels & offset kit while I am at it???

I would do the big wheels, they will only help rotating the track.
Keep an eye under the rear tunnel.
If u run less than 140psi the track will likely rub when u hit a ditch bank and pop wheelies.
If u see black marks from the track rubbing, add 5-10lbs at a time and see if the rubbing stops.

There are certain conditions where aluminum wheels will amass ice around the circumference, tightening the track more than u would imagine. Enough that u will have to stop and break off the ice.

Think of Farmers ins. I know a thing or two because I've seen a thing or two....[emoji16][emoji23]

Ok, AC plastic Alpha One 10" wheels & TKI offset axles?? Need to get my orders in for parts while my skid is apart installing the IceAge Elevate rails. Best options?

If u go plastic, make sure u order the '19 wheels and not '20. The '20 needs to be cut around the bearing to fit the offset axle. Easy mod but unnecessary if u can order the '19s

That is for u to decide.
I like both. I have not had a problem with plastic wheels, other than rubber delamination and that is after several thousand mi.. The aluminum wheels are nice and the ice only builds up in the right conditions, most of the time they are fine.
