Im thinking of getting one of these sleds and want to know what everyone thinks. Experiences from those with one would be great. How is the power, handling, weight, reliability etc.... thanks :)

Well just picked one up for the gf, and love it. We only have about 50km's on it, but sled has bout 1100. Good zing in it for a 6, very peppy. have some carb/clutching issues to sort, as sled had a pipe on it before we bought it, and was never reverted back to stock settings, so is a lil rich and weighted a tad heavy. Overall though, i dig it :D

Very good powder sled, lots of power - slp pipe and can... will preform with with bigger sleds, never had a problem with it. The good news is .... it's for sale... making way for the Dragon.

yeah, its that good. you are obviously not going to get 800 style grunt, but it will give you some of the most fun days you have had on a sled. great for someone learning, tons of fun for someone with lots of seat time. lots of room to mod. REALLY solid, fun, good value.

Great sled! I love mine. The easiest chassis to throw around out there. Mine has SLP pipe, can, airintake, florights, hot air elimination kit, V-force 3 reeds, 6" Risers, and boss nos and it will pul a dragon 700 and a stock m7 on a SHORT run, but anything real long and they will slightly pull ahead, but its a whole nother story when i hit the NOS! Then it's showing 8's whats up! If i had to do it again though i would go with Boondockers Nos.. Get the sled though, stock it rips, little money and you'll have a competitor

I love ridding those 600's sometimes I think it would be more fun if we all went back to the smaller sleds makes it more of a chalange. They are a great sled just don't have the torque of the larger sleds.

Well thats good to know. This is right inline with what I have heard. I currently ride a 02 RMK 800 151. But I would love a new sled with all the new technology, etc but 8-10K is so much $ for an 800!!! I think Im going to try this 600 out.....

Great sled! The only thing that fully sucks on all new polaris sleds is the BULL S@#T FRONT BUMPER and when you hit something it's going to cost alot of $$. I have 2 600's 06 and 08 and often choose to ride them over my big sled depending on conditions.

I picked one up last Nov. I ride with m8's 03 pol 800 and 01 cutler 1000 cat mod sled no problem keeping up sometimes out climbing them. You will find that 600 power wise is a lot like your 800. One of the guys with a new m8 said after riding my 600 said he wished he had rode the 600 first before buying the cat. The other m8 rider just bought a new 800 dragon.
Rode stock last year just a few mods this year. All in all IMO one of the best all around sleds out there. Great dealer here in Laramie and the set up was spot on.

I'd like a 600/144" for my wife next year because they are so nimble and easy handling. But, it doesn't mean us guys can't enjoy one too. I know that a lot of us would likely be less tired after a ride if we all had IQ600's and M6's, compared to our bigger, heavier 8-1000's.

The 600 seems pretty awesome and later if you want 800 power go with the 727 kit and NOS and your still at or below the 800 dragon price tag.

I have the '08 600 144 w/cleanfire. I spent quite a bit a time reading and talking before I pulled the trigger. The 144 fits my needs and doesn't fill up the trailer. We spend more time playing in trees & meadows than we do highmarking and such. With 125hp right out of the box, there should be enough power to keep me going. When picking a sled, be honest with how you plan to ride it. One of the couples we ride with each have the big cats with looong tracks. Everytime we head off trail to play. They park their sleds and watch us. I honestly think they would be happy with a trail sled or cross over type. But the bigger is better mentality is hard to break. The biggest concern I have is that both my wife and my daughter have expressed interest in the sled. It would be a shame if I had to go look for an '09 next year;)

I've got one with a Sruther's 660. It is an amazingly capable sled, but I am considering going to a Struther's 860 if I keep it for next season.
